Northamptonshire Grants...
  • East Northants Business Partnership

    Start up or existing businesses in East Northamptonshire with less than 10 employees may apply for a grant of up to 50% of eligible expenditure, up to £500 maximum. Those in rural locations outside the six towns of Rushden, Higham Ferries, Irthlingborough Raunds Thrapston and Oundle may apply for a grant of up to 75%, up to £500 maximum.

  • Redundant Rural Buildings Grant

    Demand is likely to exceed the funds available - 8 projects were supported last year. £15,000 maximum grant to a maximum percentage of 25% of project costs. Minimum grant is £2,000. ‘Rural’ is defined as areas with a population of less than 5,000. Conditions are:-
    • Full planning permission must already be in place prior to application
    • Sufficient funding is available to ensure the project goes ahead & commercial viability is demonstrable
    • Payments are made against receipted expenditure (as a percentage thereof) for allowable capital costs
    • The premises are used solely for the intended use for a period of 5 years
    • Minimum 5 year lease remains post completion for tenanted premises
    • Public and company insurance cover is in place
    • The final £1,000 will only be paid on production of final costs and a Certificate of Completion from the Buildings Inspector has been issued.
