- Workspace Refurbishment Grant

Who can apply?

Owner-managers/proprietors of businesses with less than 50 employees whose base is in Lincolnshire.

Businesses must have been trading for under 36 months at the date of submitting an application.

Business will have identified a need for capital investment in their workspace.

The required investment will allow the business to commence trading or trade at an enhanced level, ultimately helping to ensure their long-term sustainability.

The focus will be on supporting businesses with a fixed site and consequently a fixed asset.
The fund is for SME’s only, not landlords.
Leasehold premises must have at least 2 years of the current lease left to run.

How much grant is payable?
Grants of between £500 and £5,000 can be awarded to applicants supported by two quotations from reputable, preferably local, trades people. Applicant’s must be able to fund a minimum of 50% of the cost of the work – net of VAT. Professional fees or cost contingencies cannot be included.

ICT Innovation Portfolio (Lincolnshire Broadband Initiative)
Who can apply?
Small/Medium Enterprises (SMEs) including self employed, sole traders, partnership or freelance and community enterprises within the Objective 2 main area with:
• 1-249 employees
• annual turnover not exceeding €50 million, or an annual balance sheet not exceeding €43 million
• independent – not more than 25% owned by an enterprise that is not itself an SME
- What do the 3 products offer?
Step 1. Advice – worth up to £3,000. Free expert independent ICT advice, a minimum 2 site visits and a report to power your business forward. Followed by project management support and assistance in applying for an ICT Innovation Grant
Step 2. Grant – up to £15,000. 50% matched funding available from £2,000 - £15,000 to help fund an ICT Innovation project
Step 3. Subsidy – worth up to £2,699. All the benefits of business-enhancing Advanced Broadband for only £49 per month. The subsidy to cover the connection fee and to help with the first 12 months usage of the service
